As of January 1, 2010, the first day of the entire future, all existing UltraSoft Door Games have become Freeware...
If you find them useful, donations are more than welcome and very appreciated. Registration is required for statistical purposes only, which can easily occur by email. As always, no personal information is ever sold or distributed in any way. Simply use our Contact page and let us know who you are, and what you'd like to Register. Once compiled you'll receive your Registrations in return email, which will be the same address to use for any donations via Paypal, should you elect to contribute to our previous or continuing efforts. Or get your Registrations and send in a check if you like. But as indicated, it isn't required. Keeping in mind of course, all UltraSoft Games can be run without a BBS, as Home Games too. Just use the /L parameter which tells the game to run in Local Mode. We thank you for all your support in the past. It certainly was a fun run.. Wasn't it? Heck, if it could be internally justified, we'd happily start all over and do it all again! Darn that Gore fellow and his Internet anyway! Since the games use extensive online-animation, online music and a bunch of sound effects, they are quite unique from typical static Door Games. We sort of broke the traditional mold for what a door game should actually do. Interest has been shown in the past about purchasing the games, the rights, their source code, and the internal proprietary libraries used to create them. We would entertain additional discussion regarding this, if the interest is there. Let us know, if you'd like to develop some new animated games as a hobby, or as an extension of the Telnet technology. We could even arrange to support such an effort as circumstances allow. All existing libraries and source code can be used infinite times for as many new doors of just about any variety as one may desire. Included are full, rather elaborate Installation packages with each one as well, including all applicable source code. Send us an email if you'd like to discuss this. What if there were an easy way to really jazz up your BBS and get your members a lot more involved? Well, there may be a way to do just that. Help us extend the beloved BBS technology, and keep folks coming, by adding carefully designed extras, and attracting more new members.
Below is a list of
our featured BBS Games. They are available for easy download, and a
Free Trial period. Most have recent upgrades and popular Sysop Utilities included with
Registration. Extras are included.
All the Door Games are highly animated, most with rather elaborate action
figures, and extensive online sound effects. They contain all their own
programmed communication libraries, and require no external programs such as
fossil drivers to run. They may also be run locally as home-games by using
the " /L" parameter. So they can be easily tested prior to installation.
They all contain complete installation packages.
For an all-new experience in BBS Gaming, try them out and let us know how you like the advanced concepts. Door Games needn't be either traditional, static, or boring. They should be a significant asset. We hope that's what you'll find with the UltraSoft Animated Collection.
